AMD Ryzen 5 2400G (Socket AM4)

The AMD Ryzen 5 2400G is a processor from the "Raven Ridge" generation with four physical CPU cores and multi-threading for eight virtual cores. The quad-core processor operates with a clock rate of 3.6 GHz per core, which precisely adapts to the respective utilization scenario in real time by means of Precision Boost and thus increases in 25 MHz steps on-the-fly within the framework of TDP to up to 3.9 GHz turbo in each case. The silicon is lithographed using the advanced 14 plus nm FinFET manufacturing process with stacked transistors (also called 3D transistors). The space gained on the processor due to the greatly reduced structure sizes allows the integration of a total of 2 MB Level 2 cache and 4 MB Level 3 cache as well as the powerful Vega 11 GPU with 704 shaders in 11 compute units (CUs). AMD Extended Frequency Range (XFR) The AMD Ryzen 5 2400G is equipped with the Auto-OC feature Extended Frequency Range (XFR), which increases the processor clock rate beyond the factory set limit of the maximum boost clock rate, provided the cooling used offers appropriate reserves. As soon as the integrated sensors of the CPU register additional cooling capacities, the Ryzen CPU automatically adjusts its clock rates to the respective cooling solution. For manual overclocking, the AMD Ryzen APU is equipped with a free multiplier.
