This bookshelf speaker system features a 4-inch bass driver and a front-facing bass reflex port that delivers robust, rich bass notes. The high frequencies are clear, and combined with the mids, they create a warm, full sound. The R1280T speaker system consists of an active and a passive speaker.
The active speaker has three knobs to adjust bass intensity, treble, and volume. A remote control is also included for muting and adjusting the volume conveniently from your sofa. The amplifier and power supply are integrated into the active speaker, which connects directly to the power outlet via a power cable.
The passive speaker is connected to the active one using the included speaker cable. On the back of the active speaker, there are two RCA stereo inputs, allowing you to connect two audio sources simultaneously to the Edifier R1280T speaker system. The Edifier R1280T is excellent for use with a television or computer.
Audio sources with a 3.5 mm jack can also be easily connected using the included audio cable.
