The NH-D9L chromax.black is an all-black version of Noctua's award-winning, compact NH-D9L dual-tower CPU cooler, which offers excellent cooling performance with minimal operating noise at a height of just 110 mm. The comparatively small height (15 mm less than classic 9-cm coolers like the NH-U9S) not only guarantees full 3U compatibility, but also makes the NH-D9L an ideal solution for compact HTPC and small form factor housings, where the airflow runs parallel to the mainboard. With its 95x95-mm footprint, the NH-D9L never surpasses RAM and PCIe slots on ITX motherboards.
The supplied NF-A9 premium fan ensures excellent running smoothness, whose speed can be fully automatically controlled via PWM. The cooling performance in dual fan operation can be further improved with a second, optional NF-A9 fan.
